Meet the Team
We recognize that all of our patients are unique and deserve to receive orthodontic care that reflects their individual needs. Our experienced and talented team is committed to working with you and your family to create a comfortable, stress-free, and rewarding orthodontic experience every time you visit our practice. We are pleased to welcome you and your family, and we look forward to working with you.
Emily began her orthodontic career in 2002 as a Practice Manager and Treatment Coordinator. In 2008 she came to Garfinkle Orthodontics. Over these past 10 years she has been able to develop special relationships with our patients and team members. This connection with people is what she loves most about her job. Although recently she has physically relocated to the Inland NW, she is still busy in the day-to-day operations of the practice, supporting Dr. Judah and the amazing team from behind the scenes. Don’t be surprised if you see her in the office, she is here often.
In her spare time Emily likes to explore the Lakes and Rivers of the Inland NW with her husband Kris. If she isn’t outside you will find her cooking or wine tasting, two of her favorite hobbies.
Erin meets with our patients who will be needing future orthodontic treatment. She enjoys explaining the treatment plan to patients and parents and helping guide them through this new journey. Erin also handles variety of other duties including updating our website, creating event invitations and other marketing materials, and staying in touch with the dental offices in our area. What she loves most, though, is seeing patients have a positive and successful orthodontic experience.
When Erin is not at work, she can be found spending time with her husband Scott, and their children Luke & Everleigh. Erin loves running, any and all outdoor activities, photography, and getting creative with Illustrator and Photoshop.
Connie has been involved with orthodontics for many years, first as a clinical assistant, and the last 18 years as a treatment coordinator. Dr. Garfinkle’s standard of excellence makes it a joy to be a part of this team. She finds joy in meeting families and individuals with a wide variety of ages and backgrounds, who want the best health and aesthetics for their teeth.
When Connie is not working she enjoys gardening, spending time with her 6 adult children, being outdoors by the ocean or camping, and ballroom dancing of any sort.
Denise enjoys getting to know every unique patient and family at our practice and learning about their most recent ventures. She is proud to work in such a high-tech and efficient practice that is able to give so many individuals the gift of a wonderful smile.
Outside of work, Denise loves going hiking with her dogs, Cal and Maggie, visiting her family in Salem, and trying new home improvement projects.
As she works with each patient and their family at the start of the orthodontic journey, Jamie gets to see the excitement in the patients. That enthusiasm is invigorating and she loves it! Jamie’s job is to make certain each family is comfortable with their payment arrangements throughout the course of treatment. She also serves as a patient advocate to ensure patients get the most from their insurance benefits.
If Jamie’s not at work, she’s likely outside, enjoying time with her husband, Doug, and daughters Abby and Charley. She loves cooking healthy food, sewing, and creating.
With her quick smile and friendly manner, Rachelle forms friendships with our patients. She loves working with people of different ages and backgrounds, developing strong relationships with each of them. As a clinical assistant, Rachelle delivers support to our doctors during various orthodontic procedures and supports the patient at the same time, making sure they are comfortable and relaxed.
Originally from Newport, OR, Rachelle heads back to the coast often. She comes from a large family: 12 siblings, total! In her free time, she likes concerts, working out, and being outside.
Mike loves working one-to-one with our patients, building friendships while providing orthodontic care. Seeing the outcome of their treatment, and how thrilled each patient is, always makes him happy. Working chairside during patient procedures, Mike provides assistance to the doctor and delivers support and encouragement to the patient, updating them on what’s going on and telling them how well they’re doing.
Mike has a son named Easton and a new puppy named Bella. He loves to watch and coach baseball, is an avid fisherman, and enjoys hitting the slopes during the winter.
Kylee has been working in orthodontics for 5 years. She works hard, alongside Dr. Judah, to make sure our patients are always comfortable, happy and getting the best care that they can receive. She is proud to be a part of a team that truly focuses on patient care. Her favorite part of the job is being able to help create beautiful smiles and friendships along the way.
When Kylee isn’t working, she enjoys traveling, hiking, going to the coast and spending time with her family.
With 17 years of experience in orthodontics, Emily knows a lot about straight teeth and the impact a beautiful smile can have in someone’s life. Our newest member joining the team this year, we are enjoying her warm personality and attention to detail.
When Emily is not working, you can find her engaged in volunteer work, stand up paddling, and appreciating the Oregon outdoors with her husband, Shawn.
Working with patients of all ages is such a fun and rewarding part of being a clinical assistant. The patients at Garfinkle Orthodontics are delightful and fabulous, each in their own way. Joining them on their journey to a beautiful smile is priceless. Micole provides assistance to the doctor for various procedures and supports the patients throughout treatment.
Micole and her husband Chris are Oregon natives and enjoy all that Oregon has to offer! They can be found hiking with their dog Deunan, camping in Central Oregon, or playing a round of disc golf. Micole loves gardening, cooking, baking (mostly bread), and spending time with friends and family.
