Is my child too young for an evaluation?
In agreement with both the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO) and the American Academy of Pediatric Dentists (AAPD), Dr. Garfinkle recommends the first orthodontic screening at the age of 7 years, or earlier if you have any specific concerns.
What does treatment cost?
It depends on your child’s specific needs, but we’ll always walk you through your options clearly before you commit to anything. If treatment is recommended, you’ll leave your complimentary consultation with a clear breakdown of cost, including how it may factor into a second phase of treatment down the road. We also offer flexible financing to help make it work for your family.
Will my insurance cover this?
Many plans include some level of orthodontic coverage. Our team will help you understand your benefits so you’re not left guessing.
Does my child actually need early treatment?
Not every child does, and we’ll never recommend more than what’s needed. Sometimes waiting is the right call. Sometimes a little guidance now makes things easier down the road. We’ll help you tell the difference.
Braces or clear aligners, which is right for my child?
It depends on age, treatment goals, and lifestyle. Both are effective, and we’ll help you weigh the right fit once we know more about your situation.
